Cauvery CADA covering irrigation projects in six districts in Cauvery Basin in Karnataka is operating from its head office based in Mysore. It is headed by an Administrator Mr. Suresh,      I.F.S. along with three land development officers designated for Agriculture, Cooperative and Irrigation. Cauvery CADA has two project level WUAs federation namely Harangi and Kabini major irrigation projects. CADA is organising series of training programme to WUCs at strategic locations. Mr. R. Doraiswamy of JalaSpandana participated in the recent preparatory meeting of the training programme held at Karnataka Cooperative Federation, Bangalore and suggested topics and methodology for effective training programme. The following table illustrates the status of WUAs as on March 2008.
