Tailenders and other deprived under Vanivilas sagar project in
Karnataka is part of the larger study that covers two tanks namely
Belagumba tank in Magadi taluk of Bangalore Rural and Kandhikere in
Chikanayakanahalli taluk in Tumkur District and Tungabhadra Left Bank
Canal under major canal system. The study was carried out by Mr. R.
Doraiswamy and Dr. Peter Mollinga. The study is about the farmers deprived of canal water and their livelihoods.
